If the liner needs to be changed, it takes a simple push of a lever and a slight push with your hands and it will move on its own.
This happens due to a gas-charged shock that controls it when moved back and forth. Also when changing the liners, they are located on the front of the machine instead of the back. This makes changing it much more convenient.
Changing the height of the transfer tray has even become easier and more accessible. Before, it used to be on the opposite side of where the bar would have been fed through. Now, it is right on the front so you can easily tell that you have the right height the first time. When installing the pushrods, zero tools are needed. The new Haas bar feeder has locks to make installation easier. The storage for the pushrods is right above where you would install it which makes it more convenient.
